As soon as I walked in the room I saw John Galliano. I was so surprised to see him, he never goes anywhere. He is one of my favorite people in the business. He always believed in me as a model from the very first start, and after all these years working together I am very fond of him. His partner, Alexis Roche was also there, and he is just like a brother, and we actually look like real brother and sister! Then I saw Gisele. Wow, we haven't seen each other in so long! As she told Tom,her husband, we shared the same apartment on my very first trip to NY, when I came to do pictures for my book. It was my first time in NY city and Gisele had her sister with her. I was so naive ( I still feel that way sometimes) and had no idea about anything. Gisele was becoming "Gisele" the ubermodel at that time and I have to say that she has never changed through out the years. I mean, she grew as model and a person, but her inner self has stayed consistent. The same positive energy and big heart of a girl that loves her family! We talked for a bit, as our lives are in a totally different place than when we first met and shared that apartment.
