Due to a bad economy and, not coincidentally, a lack of new nightclub openings, last season’s Fashion Week saw a smattering of rather mediocre parties in well-traveled clubs still sporting the previous year’s looks. How gauche! With New York nightlife now on the comeback trail, at least a handful of new boites have opened, and their rosters promise runways full of hung-over models. While this week’s events are invite-only, their host venues will no doubt be in style throughout the season.

Gisele Bundchen was out on her patio in Boston earlier today, rearranging deck furniture with the help of husband and hot, athletic daddy Tom Brady as well as another friend. Even with her growing bump — which is exciting to see more clearly! — it looked like Gisele was in charge of the operation. Gisele and Tom have been in Massachusetts awaiting their Winter arrival and gearing up for his upcoming football season, which means some lovely walks around town for pregnant Gisele.

I am always unsubscribing/then resubscribing to this thread. I remember her explosion in W magazine when I had subscriptions 1997 (and her real nose and breasts) through 2002/3 and so many of her eds these days are just like that GQ Latin America picture, or ALWAYS STILL in a bikini on Vogue India?

I wish she could be used creatively like IT Vogue and Meisel used to pair her and Carmen together, and they made interesting and awestruck photography, now it's almost p*rn. I still like Gisele, but I feel she became way too much of a household name.

Tom Brady: Gisele Is Due in December
Tom Brady has one request when it comes to the birth of his child with new wife Gisele Bundchen.

"I told her ... no Sundays," the New England Patriots quarterback, 32, told ESPN.

Although Usmagazine.com first reported in June that the couple was expecting a child, the football player spoke out about their growing family for the first time in an interview to air Sunday on SportsCenter.

Brady, who also confirmed that Bundchen is due in December, doesn't seem nervous about a new baby. He even joked that he'll participate in Lamaze classes.

"Well, it couldn't be harder than this training camp, so I'll be prepared," he said. "The women are the ones who have to do the work. We just have to be there and support them, so it'll be nice to do that."

Bundchen, 29, wed Brady in Santa Monica, Calif. last February, as first reported by Us. They tied the knot again in Costa Rica in April.
Brady is dad to John Edward Thomas Moynahan, born in 2007, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
