Ricardo do things I already saw...except he always do it BETTER than anyone else. There is such a strong identity there, Givenchy has really became a spirit, a vibe more than many other brands. This collection is really nice, he plays on gothic vibes except that prints gives it a new side. I like it a lot !

i think this is literally all over the place. it goes from absolutely fantastic (like this cape/coat that's just amazing http://s19.postimage.org/n46fyyhar/2012_03_04_20_41_52_givenchy_3273.jpg ) to very ugly, especially all the shiny jumpsuits and the leather one. and those ugly fur pieces / jackets. I'm also unsure about the dresses, they screem old west / saloon prostitute to me, but at least they're pretty.

Luv all the coats and jackets!! But do agree that it is not a very polished collection!

those last few dresses on bright silks with studding are exquisite...everything else, IDK...

WHAT A MESS. It should have been edited to fifteen looks with a coherent goth equestrian theme. There are some good things (the boots, the jodhpurs, some coats...) but then there are some extremely ugly pieces. So ugly, that I don't think I had seen such horror since I started following his work at Givenchy. Those lace dresses are nothing but vile, the closing look is hideous and his use of fur is more than questionable.

I also find it really hard to pick THE look that would represent this collection as a whole...

I was about to faint I got this excited after seeing the first few looks...but then from around look 8 on it just went completely downhill. Especially the part in the middle that looks like he designed stage outfits for Rihanna looks completely horrid. The last part looks extremely unpolished and unfocused. No thanks, this is not for me.

What a horrible collection, such a downgrade from last season, which whilst far from fantastic did present some intresting ideas at least. I don't know why Tisci, along with so many designers are so obsessed with this idea of hard, leather-clad urban warrior cum domanatrix women. I am so tired of it.
