I definitely want a pair of gladiator sandals for this summer, but I struggle finding a good pair here in Holland.

I never considered gladiators to be a trend, as they keep on coming back season after season....but i also think since there are so many options our there, there is no need to buy expensive paris either!

During my time away from tFS, I will admit I have been less hateful towards gladiator sandals. I've been able to tolerate a few gladiator sandals, but still very far from loving them as much as a mary jane or a lovely pair of peep-toe pumps. It's a start, but there were some studded gladiators worn by Taylor Swift in L.E.I. advertisements in magazines. Here's a link to an advertisement in question:

...and a closer look at the sandals:

The sandals are called "Monica" So what if you can find these at a WalMart? At least it's a start for me. And at least there are some gladiators I admit liking. There are now a few more gladiator sandals I'm less hateful of. It just depends on how they look overall that determines whether I love certain ones or dislike certain others. So this is somewhat an epiphany for me in regards to gladiator sandals.

You know something's wrong or that the tide has turned when a guy normally not excited about gladiator sandals makes back-to-back posts praising some gladiator sandals. I would Yay! the sandals in the following shopbop.com link if we were doing "Yay or Nay?" Have a look:

Funny enough, the description on the aforementioned gladiator sandals says:

"Would the ancient gladiators have fought over this sandal? We like to think so." -shopbop.com

I like cleanly-styled sandals. If I were a femme I'd immediately think of finding sandals like these to go with a maxi dress or something. A recent "Yay or Nay?" involving a brown pair of gladiator sandals with big jeweled accents was almost quickly nay'ed by me. The two gladiators I mentioned so far are mostly modest and not any strappy and grotesque nightmares. I've even seen a few high-heeled gladiator sandals I thought looked lovely. STILL very far from loving these, but progress is being made.

^Cynthia vincent? I prefer the black style they had but it's very cute!

Now those gladiators in Post #751 are mostly tolerable. The wedge heel is sweet, and these are some gladiator sandals I could tolerate. Not all that much, but tolerate nonetheless.

Marchessa - We had those at the store I work at. They run TTS and are extremely comfortable! I love them!

Here they are on Vanessa Hudgens.Love them:crush::heart:
