i don't see all the fuss about kate's outfit. she has bare legs, if mud gets on them she'll be able to wash it off instead of ruining her pants. it looks risque, but it's not completely illogical.

I don't think it it about the paps at all. I think she was subtly making fun of Kate's outfit - wearing skimpy clothes when it was so cold as opposed to the other attendees.
