Glastonbury Style

Razorlight played last year too, but on a smaller scale, and I think the Libertines might have minus Pete Doherty of course.
Richard Ashcroft was there this year, I think he performed.

Me too!

And it was a pretty good line up last year Label Basher:Morrissey,Muse,Paul McCartney,Franz Ferdinand....and loads more I've forgotten

and kings of leon!!! sigh

had such fun this year .. but I never got cold, despite me wearing strapless 70's disco dress and wellies in Lost Vagueness at god-knows-what hour!!

this is a good article .. glastonbury shouldn't be seen as a catwalk, unless you arrive by helicopter and you have bouncers to front of your tent watching your designer gear 24 hours a day!!

although, that said - I did manage to look fabulous for the four days I was at Glastonbury .... :p

i took quite a few photo's .. but haven't had my films developed yet ... will get them scanned once I do tho, and post if there are any good ones

gutted that I didn't end up going to the diesel party .. we decided not to (only had invite for the Friday night) as we were meeting friends at Lost Vagueness and decided it was too much of an effort in the mud to get to the venue! the photo's look great

PLEASE,could anyone please post Richard Ashcroft pictures taken from there?I'm begging -we never see him much in the U.S-never any word on him at all.
Please?any any thoughts on the performance?songs?

I will look, but I wanted to post this review from skynews of Kates outfit:

Kate, Kate, Kate. Why did you, of all fashionable, stylish people have to foul up so badly?
Need we point out those shorts are just too short - and do not work with that waistcoat? And look at that grey sky - does it look like short weather? Tsk, tsk.

Just made me laugh

While I loved the outfit, I have to agree that the shorts were a bit TOO short. Maybe if they were just a couple of centimetres longer?....

THANK YOU Boho Babe, you are so dear and so very kind!!!!!!
Oh and I think Kate looked stunning in her short shorts-

it was actually really muggy + warm during most of the festival .. i was in shorts + mini's and running around at all hours and didn't feel the cold too much

or they are going through 'the trenches' ;)

i don't see all the fuss about kate's outfit. she has bare legs, if mud gets on them she'll be able to wash it off instead of ruining her pants. it looks risque, but it's not completely illogical.

i went to glastonbury this year and i agree, bare legs were the way forward. we had 3 solid days of mud and after a while you run out of clean, mud-free trousers. i remember wearing a miniskirt i bought from one of the stalls and sitting at a table with my pink-welly clad feet in knee-deep water.

Also, noone really has showers there (shame on you if you did :p ) and you're there for 6 days, so instead of wearing the same few pairs of trousers and not washing, you wear your legs and can rinse them at the water taps! brilliant.

Man, that week was the best of my life
