It bothers me that their layout looks more like a preview that you'd see inside the magazine (something like Bazaar does) than the actual finished cover. Something's just not right around there.
FINALLY a good men's FASHIONNNNN cover and not any of the non-fashion GQ does every month with a suit and an actor.
THIS is fashion: a model, a cool new outfit, a mood.

^^^ Unfortunately, the accompanying story is as generic as it gets: The covershot is the only good thing. The entire issue is just a continuous catalogue of how-to-dress/what-to-wear trope— made even more unbearable with its Mondrian-graphic design that’s as soothing to the eye as having it scratched by a cat page after page.
There’s a model with a Caesar-cut featured in the opening story that bears a striking resemblance to a young Sean O’pry— just a tad more buffed. He’s the only thing worth looking at in this issue.
