Grace Kelly

Thought this was interesting! Cant wait to see their creations!

NEW YORK, New York (September 20, 2007) – Six gowns of historic note worn by Grace Kelly/Princess Grace of Monaco will serve as inspiration to some of America’s best known fashion designers as they create one-of-a-kind haute couture to celebrate the classic style of the American-born Princess in the 25th year since her passing. The designs will be exhibited at Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York City flagship store during October’s Celebration of Grace and each will be up-for-bid to the public in a silent auction with final bidding at the Casino Couture event at Sotheby’s on October 24.
During October 21 - 26, 2007, couture creations by Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Zac
Posen, Ralph Rucci and Vera Wang will be displayed in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue and their sale will benefit the Princess Grace Foundation-USA which assists emerging talent in theater, dance, and film by awarding scholarships, apprenticeships and fellowships.

^ I'd be interested in seeing that. Hopefully I won't forget in a month's time :D

Thank you for the info ^_^

I always knew who she was, but I havent seen her act.

But in my Novel Cinema class, we just watched Rear Window, and shes in it. And I completly fell in love with her. She is so beautiful in a classical way.

And I only found out today that she married a Prince and became Princess Grace..

^ Was it AMC? Cause they had a marathon of Hitchcock films last week here! I wish I had watched more. I only got to see Rear Window!

all those pictures are in that special 25 anniversary LIFE magazine, thats cool that they are in the Sunday's too

^ Thanks for those! I am trying to think of who might be somthing like Grace in Hollywood today...Ummm..Charlize Theron? Kiera Knightly? I may have once thought of Gwyneth Paltrow once but now I'm not so sure...Any thoughts??

i think its really hard to compare because she had such an amazing screen presence, classic style, seemed very mature even in her early 20s, and was so feminine and well graceful

i would have said keira but she doesnt seem that mature and shes not very graceful
hmmm i dont know
