American actress Grace Kelly is the guest of honor at the 1955 Cannes Film Festival, where she met her future husband, Prince Rainier Grimaldi III of Monaco. On April 18, 1956, Grace Patricia Kelly married Prince Rainier in Monaco cathedral in front of 30 million viewers around the world, taking the title Princess Grace of Monaco.
