Boomer I agree. In a way, each woman represents beauty of her own era. Grace was the “iconic cool” beauty of the silver screen in the 1950’s. Caroline came of age in after the tumultuous 1960’s. She was thrust into the paparazzi spotlight in the 1970’s and typecast as a “rebel princess”. I don’t agree with the label that the press gave her, but she was accused of not "behaving" in a conservative royal way. Caroline’s looks and appeal were more overt that Grace’s looks. In today’s multiracial/multicultural society, there may not be an “ideal” of feminine beauty anymore. Charlotte is an individual, her beauty has been compared to Bridgette Bardot’s, but she does not appear to try to mimic anyone’s look. Photo credit: Hola Magazine,life.com, getty images.
