ummm is it a repost if i post a real pic of that cover?

If you mean to post the exact same picture, yes it is a repost. If you mean to post the original picture without any background writing, no it isn't a repost and it will probably be welcomed by members who like to save pictures on their computer.
You can see this happens constantly in the magazine/star/model threads. People post covers and then, if there is one, the clean shot without all the writing. It isn't considered a repost by any-one, members or moderators and people usually like the clean shot better.

Before posting, please consider the following:
Please do not post the same picture repeatedly in a thread. While we appreciate the sharing of images, it is not necessary to see the same image 6 times.

The rule is basically a consideration, it is not saying that reposts are forbidden. The rule is flexible

And I agree with Harumi. Technically it is not a repost because Magazines do manipulate pictures, and sometimes when you are collecting photos you dont want to keep that particular one but rather the original. And the original has already been posted, I believe twice, so according to your rules scriptgirl your post is a repost
