great topic *ania*
even though the 'greek goddess' style has been hot for few summers now
imo, Lanvin does it better ;)

A dress in that philosophy wore i think and the representative from UK in the ESC!

I am right?

wow im such a great fan of this trend :heart::heart: i always prefer the supporting trends than the big things, thats why i totally adore the 'greek' and 'sailor' looks this summer :flower:

Awesome thread and great pics too! :flower:

I believe the "faux greek" trend went mainstream about 2-3 yrs ago when the tops with one shoulder was very popular. Of course it was cute for a while and then it became really annoying and redundant.

These picturees posted show a really different side I hadn't seen before of greek influenced fashion. Looks very beautiful when the top is loose and done with very light non body hugging fabrics.

I'm in desperate need of greek-ish style flats for the summer.

love this..
the olive color at Gaultier is amazing...
and that gown by Costello Tagliapietra....wow..:woot:
I have never heard of this designer....i'd love to see more....looks magnificent...

My prom dress was kind of grecian-style :D . This is it (I had it shortened because I'm short). I love this trend, especially for warm weather  .

Wow Lakota, that is a pretty prom dress. Wish I had such good taste when I choose mine, which was more than a decade ago
