Grey's Anatomy

She's getting on my last nerve with her horrible treatment of Callie.
I thought that Izzie was totally horrible to Callie. I love Izzie, but poor Callie didn't do anything. She just married the guy she loved(?) on an impulse and...

Izzie is being so hypocritical of George doing something on an impulse or something stupid, but hey--falling in love with an off-limits patient, accepting his marraige proposal and cutting his wire wasn't impulsive and stupid and rash? She shouldn't judge George when all of her friends supported her through everything and were there for her. Or is Izzie jealous that George got married and happy despite everything that's happened with his dad and her fiance died?

Sorry, just like to get that off my chest.

^^ Oh and when Izzie was crying over whether she was to cash the cheque or not, George was there for her and he never once judged her!

i'm with you kissmesweet. I don't understand why Izzie acts like that. But Callie's comment was completely inappropriate. I think she dislikes Callie (fro whatever reason), i don't think her problem is the wedding.

and Kochie Addison wasn't mean. She talked to Christina like that because she didn't want her to have any kind of hope, because it was VERY BAD (in real life she would be dead, but whatever...). I think the exact opposite, Addison was very nice, especially when she talked to Derek.

^well with me i saw it as mean. if my best friend was dying and there was no hope i wouldnt want someone to say to me so harshly, if i had questions, "Andrea its not good." Im a nurse and that is just not how you treat people

I am guessing Izzie and George might end up being together. Is this thoery too far-fetched?:p

That last episode was okay. I'm still waiting for this season's "wow" episode, the one that gives you goose bumps like last season's finale. The scene with Izzy crying over Denny and Alex comforting her was very emotional. Anyone know if next week's will be a new episode?

Spoilers from the GA podcast...in the next new ep, aired 3/15:
Some people will show up at the hospital that you never expect
The last 30-sec will leave you jaw-dropping, (compared it to the arrival of McSteamy from the shower a few eps back)

Some spoilers from TV guide:
The race for chief heats up after a new competitor enters the fray, tensions escalate between Izzie and George, and Callie must reveal a big secret. Meanwhile, Derek treats a patient near and dear to him, while Alex continues his work with Jane Doe.

I also heard that they are casting a girl to play Izzie's daughter.

This has been my guess from the beginning. They're so perfect together, and I hate Callie.

I think that too! and i was watching season 2 again yesterday and the episode with the divorce lawyer, she also tells them that they were meant to be together.

Kristen at E! said that Callie's secret might be a baby....i'm not sure about that...

when is the next episode? i heard they were on a break now...answers would be greatly appricated i'm dying since the last episode....i want something huge to happen now, like pinkpolo said i'm waiting for the "wow"

Me too... That's my thought since the 1st season. I like her with Alex, but with George--it's always an interesting possibility. (Mer + George were terrible though. That shocked me to my very core!!) George and her are really good friends and they always seem to have a great balance and trust between them.

Oh... um I'm a Meredith and Derek fan, even though I miss the drama sometimes--I'm also a big Addison and Derek fan. ANYONE ELSE? Any thoughts on that??

Haven't I mentioned twice already that the next ep will air on 3/15?

So Izzie/George is not too far-fetched. :p But I really think they are more like brother and sister. Oh, well...maybe we will see some of their "action" soon...Another spoiler: Someone's past lover is coming back and will have effects one this character's current relationship. (So...who is in a relationship right now?;) )

BTW they are postponing Addision/Alex due to the new spin-off.

Katherine Heigl Not Feeling Grey's Love

Katherine Heigl has dropped out of contract talks with Grey's Anatomy over salary, a well-placed source tells PEOPLE.

"Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington," the source says.

A rep for ABC Touchstone TV had no comment.

Katherine Heigl Is Not Leaving Grey's Anatomy

By now, you probably have seen People.com's story regarding our beloved Izzie Stevens, which alleges that "Katherine Heigl has dropped out of contract talks with Grey's Anatomy over salary" and that she is "disappointed that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington."

Well, I am happy to report to you that Katherine Heigl is not leaving Grey's Anatomy. At least, not any time soon. I've just spoken with various sources connected to the show, and they all confirm to me that Katherine is under a six-year contract, so legally, she does not have the option of leaving the show.

So, what happened? Well, according to sources and an official release from ABC Television (see below), the network offered to bump Heigl's pay to a higher amount than her initial contract. However, according to one well-placed show insider, "Heigl's representation felt it unfair that she was still not being offered the same compensation as some of the other supporting actors are making. And so, obviously, someone leaked the story to People."

Meanwhile, ABC Television just responded by releasing the following statement:

"Katherine is an integral part of Grey’s Anatomy and its success. Fortunately, we have a long-term contract to ensure she’ll be with the show for several years to come. In recognition of her tremendous talent and value to the show, we recently approached Katherine with an offer to raise her compensation significantly above the terms of her current contract. We were surprised to see this gesture reported negatively in the press, and want to reassure fans that she will continue as Izzie Stevens."

I, for one, am thrilled to hear that Heigl will be staying put, since Grey's Anatomy would not be the same without our darling, fierce and fabulous Izzie Stevens.

"Grey's Anatomy doc Kate Walsh aka "Dr. Addison-Shepard" will not lose her GA job if her new ABC spin-off show fails. She has a clause in her contract that guarantees her a return trip to Seattle Grace. Yah!"

that does suck that tonight's episode is a repeat

I love Addy too much and even though I'm happy for Kate Walsh, I have a feeling that a new spinoff wouldn't do her good. :(

wwoooo Iv just ordered the first season off the internet, i cant wait to see this show!! :D :D

Grey's Anatomy to Welcome Tim Daly

tim_daly180.jpg
First there was McDreamy, then McSteamy. And the women of Grey's Anatomy will have to come up with a brand-new nickname now that ex-Wings hunk Tim Daly is on his way to Seattle Grace.

Daly, 51, will appear on a special two-hour episode of the ABC drama that could serve as a springboard for a spinoff series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The spinoff would star Kate Walsh, who plays Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy, ABC reps confirmed to PEOPLE in February. Actor Taye Diggs has also signed on to appear in the expanded episode.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daly's character is described in a production breakdown as "handsome, sincere, like a McDreamy."

Paul Adelstein, who plays double-crossing Secret Service agent Paul Kellerman on FOX's Prison Break, has also been cast, although it's unclear what role he will play.

Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes is writing the special episode, details of which are being kept under wraps but which USA Today reports will feature Walsh's character mulling an out-of-town job offer. Should the spinoff go forward, Addison will most likely accept the offer.

Daly most recently starred in ABC's critically lauded drama The Nine.
