Grey's Anatomy

I can't believe he is 51 already!!! He and Kate Walsh played a couple on the show "Eyes." Oh, does this mean that "The Nine" is over?

Looks like they are serious about the spinoff.

^^ Yup... I hope Kate does well... But I'll miss her on GA if she goes. She's my favorite character, because Addison is so real. She makes mistakes, but she tries to correct them. She can be fragile and she can be strong. She's a talented doctor in the male-dominated hospital and she totally rocks!

What about you guys? Whose your favorite character?

I totally have to go downstairs to watch that on my computer since my sisters computer has no sound but that last little clipit looks like George and Izzie are going to kiss!!!

"Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo has closed a new deal for her services on the hit ABC medical drama. Original cast members James T. Pickens Jr. and Chandra Wilson also have agreed to new contracts, with Justin Chambers and T.R. Knight close to new pacts to continue on the Golden Globe-winning series. Under the new deals, all actors will receive salary bumps. Pompeo now will be at nearly $200,000 per episode, while Pickens, Wilson, Chambers and Knight will be paid in the neighborhood of $125,000 per episode, sources said. It is understood that the new terms are retroactive, going back to the first episode of this season.

Yet to close new deals are Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh and Katherine Heigl. Details on Heigl's stalled contract renegotiations were leaked to the media late last month, which triggered a statement on the matter from ABC TV Studio.

I'm probably alone in saying this but i've been rooting for izzie and george since season 1 ! they would make a cute couple

Sandra Oh talks about GA on Good Morning America

...

The next plot twist for Oh's character involves a visiting doctor who vies for her affection.

"The wonderful Roger Reeves has come in to the show as Dr. Colin Marlow, who is a fantastic cardiothoracic surgeon," she said. "He comes in as a rival of sorts. … You see that we had a past relationship. You'll see how that unfolds, and how that might be a bit of [a] threat to what's going on between Cristina and Burke."

Other than the rivalry, Oh kept her lips sealed about what was to come on the show. She asserted she didn't have any secrets to reveal.
"We actually don't have any information that we could possibly lie about or possibly forget and slip up on," she said.

As much as Oh relishes her work on "Grey's," she usually doesn't watch the show when it airs.

"I'm usually not home on Thursday nights, and it's also a little too close to home. … I'm so personally involved in, of course, everything, and it's a little hard for me as an actor to watch my own work," she said.

...

Thank GOD it's back on this week. I don't think my life's complete without it.

That's Cristina's prof from Standford, and whom she had a relationship with. Apparently he's at the hospital as a new competitor for chief.

yeah, love this show, nice to know there is new conflict on.
200,000 an episode is not bad for ms. meredith!

I thought she'd make more...somewhere along the lines of the 'friends' actors - but i guess it's only the third season. can't wait for thursday!!

Per one very well-placed mole, the hospital where Addison will accept her new job will be located in (drumroll, please…)

Los Angeles!

That's right, Doc Montgomery's going Hollywood!

Which makes perfect sense given what else I know about the top-secret offshoot. Sources confirm that plastic surgery and psychiatry (two L.A. staples) will play as prominent roles in the show as Addison's chosen field of neonatology. In fact, according to a source who read the script for the pilot, er, I mean the "enhanced two-hour Grey's episode with a potential for afterlife," there are multiple scenes set in a shrink's office and another scene involving a pampered Beverly Hills princess contemplating a chemical peel with her hot plastic surgeon (Tim Daly, perhaps?).

Oh, and my spy also points out the show takes advantage of its setting in another way. "There's sex, sex and more sex," whispers my mole. "I thought I was reading an episode of Nip/Tuck!"

OK, just to recap, here's what we currently know about Grey's 2.0:

Who: Kate Walsh, Tim Daly, Taye Diggs, Amy Brenneman, Chris Lowell, Merrin Dungey and Paul Addelstein.

What: Grey's Anatomy spin-off. I mean "enhanced two-hour Grey's episode with a potential for... " Oh, forget it. Grey's spin-off.

Where: Los Angeles.

When: Special two-hour May sweeps episode of Grey's "with potential... " No, I'm just not typing that again.

Why: Mo' money, natch!

I smell another soap.

I've been suffering from Grey's Anatomy withdrawal lately so I brought out my Season 2 DVDS and watched some episodes. Season 2 was awesome! I realize that in practically every scene with Derek and Meredith, it's just so obvious that he was still in love with her (just look at the way he looks at her) even though he went back with Addison. haha I thought that was funny.

TOMORROW!!!!
