^ I don't know. I've tried to like Rose. She's a beautiful, nice woman... but she seems to be so one-dimensional and obviously written just to be an obstacle in the rollercoaster that is Meredith and Derek.

I love Lexie however. She's just the most adorable thing ever!

Rose is cute and all and I like her but I don't know. Meredith right now just seems more real and there are A LOT of women that are like Meredith. And I know Shonda said her goal now is to keep Meredith and McDreamy together for good when it wasn't before.

I hope so! Maybe all it took was another woman ..... again. Poor Meredith. Her lovelife is a mess.

^ i hope that kicked her into shape. it's funny how sometimes all it takes is another woman to come into the picture and topple things out of orbit, so to speak. i really, really hope that she makes up her mind and stops being so whiney because when she's not being whiney and indecisive, i absolutely adore her.

^ i don't think it's ridiculous. actually, i could see it happening because izzie is so loving and open to things. but if it does happen, the progression of it will be quite interesting to say the least. i am just shocked that it's not something like... hahn and cristina!

^omg, that would be a twist. but they're both type-A personalities that it would literally be butting heads every minute and you can't have a fake-on screen tv relationship work like that. but then again, derek and meredith are both a hot mess and that seems to work the main reason i like rose is because she's someone new - bland, certainly - but new. and if it weren't for lexie and george, we wouldn't know who any of the new interns are!

^^^ i think that is what would be so fun about it! that they are both very type-a and very determined, and very much like to be the one ahead and/or in charge. watching a romance develop between them and seeing that struggle for who can be more dominating within the relationship i think would be super funny and entertaining!

Thomas in Orlando: Is there going to be a resolution with Meredith and Derek? I don't know if I can take much more back and forth. Seriously!
I'm hearing that yes, there is a Mer-Der resolution before the season ends—praise Shonda!—and it looks as though they're heading for outright coupledom, but of course, it won't happen right away. Sources tell me that Derek and Rose are on a special (brain surgery, of course) hospital case for quite some time together when the show returns, and DeRose get pretty cozy, however their romantic connection won't survive the season, as sources tell me that Lauren Stamile (Rose) is being phased out of the show. Good news or bad news? You tell me!
