Like many said this seems like made by the studio. Suzanne Koller styled this? She is in Milan but not sure if for Gucci or BV…

Deman can reference TF for some looks but this lacks of sex appeal even for a new generation…he is better referencing AM

Lacks humor and very archetypical and stereotypical. And some of the like “the diva” is bad casted…

Too much expectations for this outcome.

This is Demna x Gucci by Alessandro Michele! One word: flop! Now I need my beloved member back: where is the hooker chic x high society mistress? As for the menswear, can he just bring back muscular models to sell those swimming briefs? Androgynous fashion is not sexy at all.

I feel nothing about this bland collection. Hopefully the film released tomorrow will make a little more sense tho.

Nope. There are already slightly muscular but not jacked. Tom Ford models weren’t buffer. If you don’t like them, I’ll keep them !!!

It’s obnoxious, but not cocky or aloof. There’s not even an air of aspiration to this because of how devoid it is of any developmental substance.

There’s just something so painfully done up with the looks that I can’t really see them as wardrobe staples. It’s all or nothing, so it lacks an ease despite them being so surface level. Opposite of Sabato, who was so painfully bland and wardrobe based that it cheapened his vision because he had real vision. Nothing fully clicks. And we’ve seen this all before. Italian caricatures. Can we just get something more honest from him? Does it have to wrapped up in some annoying aura of overt irony?

I remember that! Maybe TF's men is more sensual in a provocative way than Demna's vampire/heroin ones, which is too cold to arouse any sexuality.

^ I think Tom understood that in order to embody something rather hedonistic and machismo from a selling point of view, you had to embrace something somewhat effeminate and sensual to really sell. Treat the male form the same way you would the female to upsell the sex and allure.

Demna doesn’t seem like a very sexy nor sensual designer. Even when he tries, it’s bit of a pastiche and like he’s armouring the body in “sexiness”. Many would view that as transgressive, but when done repeatedly it becomes vacuous. Again, Tom knew how to imbue it in a single item so even when worn with something else the essence would carry. Demna is all or nothing. It doesn’t pair well with the reality of it all even though his vision also isn’t that fantastical. Demna just sees a body and that’s it. Tom at least understood the underlying essence of what he was achieving.

Again, we get the fashion equivalent of a DJ set. A little bit of everything is stitched together without any real vision or editorial restraint. It's referential to the point of being derivative, sampling iconic moments without adding meaningful commentary or innovation. He has used the house codes, but drowned them in gimmicks and oversize styling. Only a few looks demonstrate real command of cut and proportion.
