Stefani Blasts Ignorant Critics
Gwen Stefani has launched a vicious attack on critics who fail to see past her fashionable image and take her seriously as a musician.

The former No Doubt singer is furious people dismiss her as an artist in the belief she spends more time focusing on her status as a style icon than a pop star.

So Stefani has warned doubters they'll be victims of her rage if they continue to downplay the years of skillful rock 'n' rolling she's already achieved.

She says, "I was in a band since I was 16 years old. I've been in a f**king rock band touring the f**king world for 18 years. So if you're gonna try and erase that, then I'm going to stick my finger right in your face.

"I know what it's like to be up on stage with anyone from a stupid, f**king wannabe punk rock band to opening for U2 and The Rolling Stones."

I just love how the journalist framed the article in such a way to make her sound like a lunatic. "Vicious attack", "Furious", "warned", "Victims of her rage" ? ? ?... come on!

I've always held Gwen in high regard in that she didn't blast other musicians, or even the critics... but I'm beginning to wonder if she's too conentrated on her image. Damn.

Rich Girl is such a good song, so catchy and pointless. Not rock but I could care less.

She is an exceptional dresser, who else could wear a silk track top, Rasta beanie, Vivienne Westwood argyle tights and Nike Dunks without looking insane? She does overdo those Dior F/W 04 couture platforms though, they're in every video in at least three colors.

The original Rch Girl by Lady Saw is so much better.
