Her go-to look reminds me of Charlize Theron's - they both often don (usually high) boots or booties, jeans, a t-shirt and a nice blazer. Sometimes they add a scarf, or in Gwyneth's case some necklaces. Anyhow, it's a classic look that works very well for them as they always look polished.
 
^^ Same for me but the other way around - Charlize's reminds me of Gwyneth's style. Charlize is stylish but she's not a trend setter like Gwyneth.

Those booties above are awesome. And does Apple have pink hair?

I think she is focusing on being near her children and that limits the type and amount of work she can take on.

That said, she has a movie with Mark Ruffalo coming out soon, directed by the guy who wrote The Kids Are Alright, seems promising.

And of course Iron Man 3, those movies aren't my cup of tea per se but they are blockbusters.

Love the shot of her with Blythe, wish it were bigger.
 
She and Charlize have similar personal style, but I find hers more polished, where Charlize looks to be not so calculated. As for her movie career, she can't go wrong in a movie with Mark. The Kids Are All Right was awesome.
