i see some great pieces and outfits in there..but i would probably not buy any since i see more and more people wearing h&m..scared i ll bump into someone with the same piece as i (and that happened!) unless of course, i really like it

i wonder if it will come to the stores in toronto...if...which one?
since the stores in toronto sell different stuff..and right now...h&m is pretty crap

^ it looks like a mix of all the concepts h&m carries, i'm sure you'll find almost all of it at the eaton centre. and most of it on bloor street or yorkdale..some of it is already there

I agree with you, but as a high school student in suburban Canada, 95% of my classmates consider fashion to be jeans and polos from American Eagle. And as a store aimed for the younger crowd, I think by going from their last collection to satin high-waisted overalls in the matter of a season is too much too fast, and instead of intruiging shoppers to try something less conservative, it'll just overwhelm them. If they tried to lose the conservative pieces more gradually, I think they'd be much more successful.

Love the red coat, though. It's a shame I already have one.

you're absolutely right
People will probably just get confused when it comes too fast. But I do think there is some here that seems wearable and not too "out-there"
I guess there really is that gap between ideas on what is fashion. Even my little sister faces the problem in her school (where it could be about labels and predetermined styles rather than interesting/new craftsmanship).

HM summer spring collection in word TACKY AND CRAPY, horrible materials and they have the same crap since March in the stores!!!! Stop making linen products seriously!!! they are hideous!!!!

The fall collection looks 100000X better but I hope it makes to the stores. I went to yorkdale today , the stuff was horrid!!!

3 years ago when I went to NYC, HM was awesome. Do the send their crappy stuff to TO , or is it the same worldwide.

omg i love this look

I just bought this dress yesterday! I wouldn't have guessed it was from the fall collection...as the material is so light and quite see-through but I really like the pattern and the shape of it.

About this fall collection, there are definetly some pieces that I'm going to hunt! Especially, the coats and jackets.

i like some of the colors.. but why do they always have to come up with burgundy in the fall.. every year its the same thing.. burgundy, forest green and burned orange.. blaah.. i like the purple though.
some pieces are nice, some not. i really dont like the wide legged pants.......
the greyish skinny jeans and the pencil skirt look nice though...

How very odd that we are viewing these pics like we would with a designer collection. I suppose that's a strategy H&M are taking. Topshop have their Unique line. H&M take a high-fashion approach towards what fundamentally are sub-standard quality clothes. It does all look lovely but I think I'll express the same concerns about the quality.
