How old is Hailey? As for the campaign, Gucci have taken to hiring models to form the back drop of their campaign shoots. For instance, Shaun Haugh for Gucci F/W08.
This is a huge deveopment for Hailey

She could be 16 seeing how she was in Paris Fashion Week.. Or they might have just done what they did with Keke and Julija.. Which is not a smart move if you ask me.. But who knows.. Girl is already in Gucci campaigns.. Even if it is just in the background.

Next is certainly a bigger agency than Marilyn and therefore might have more connections. There are particular girls that each agency looks for and I think that Next has a higher ranking from models.com and a higher number of girls in their top 50 than Marilyn.
However, they has been known to hugely undercharge some of their top models. I think that Karlie Kloss amongst many others launched a lawsuit against the agency.

It probably won't do any damage for Hailey's career with a change in agency, though.

actually IIRC Elite filed a lawsuit against next for allegedly 'taking' Karlie from their agency. It was Anna J, Karmen pedaru and another model who launched a lawsuit because they didnt get their payment etc
Next got some problems with the law.. but some models do get bigger after they switch to next

For such a young girl and one who's not been in the biz very long, Hailey sure is disloyal. From Ford to Marilyn and now Next. I don't think she was with Ford for even two years and not with Marilyn for even one year. We'll see how long she's with Next before she moves on to IMG or Women.

I gotta be honest and say that my gut instinct tells me that she should have stayed at Marilyn. I don't understand how wise will be the switch to Next, considering their latest law issues...

She was never with Ford NY, only Ford SF, when she signed with Marilyn, they wanted to rep her exclusively in the US. So of course you would take Marilyn, over a franchise of Ford (FYI- all the fords outside of new york aren't really ford, they just pay for the name and website.)

As for this switch, it's not my place to comment, but it might be for other reasons than business...

FYI- Hailey is very loyal and a great girl.
