Hairstyles how-to's

Fewormany I had to delete your image.. The only way you can share an image without credits on tFs is to have the image uploaded on some other site and post only the link/url to the image (not the image itself) on tFS.

i'm thinking that it doesn't work for me because my hair's really thick, and the girls in these pictures look like they have thin hair lol

any help would be very appreciated, thank you :flower:

hepburn: Thank you so much for posting that tutorial. Its amazing :) and it looks so simple too!

I love all the wavy hairstyle pics posted here. I've tried going to bed with braids or buns, but my hair looks weird when I take them out in the morning. Maybe the right product would help?

how can I get this look? :flower:

Look at the lovely braid in Alexa's hair! :woot::heart: Her hair is quite short so I don't doubt it can be done, unless it's a piece she put in. Then, I'll be mad at her for being so deceptive. :judge::p

it looks like the model may have naturally straight and fine hair, and it's either been blow-dried roughly (perhaps with a styling spray on the ends to hold the wave when the hair is wet) to create the texture at the ends, then tweeked with a little wax to define.

If you don't have straight/fine hair to do this with, you could blow dry and straighten it, and then use tongs or a curling iron to make a very very subtle wave/kink, brush it out with your fingers, and then use a non-matte wax just on the ends, so when the wave drops over time you'll still keep a natural-looking kink.

Hope this helps... There's really so many ways to create a natural wave/bedhead look, it depends on your hair type what works best. :)

MUXU-

It could be permed but I don't think you would have to perm your hair to achieve that style... Her hair is already quite curly/wavy. The curls look like they are very tight and flat to the head, without seeing the back of the hair it's hard to tell... It could be created using very small rollers and set with a good hold hairspray so they dont drop- or even using hair pins to pin the underside of the curl to the head (does that make sense?) to create a perm-effect look.

As her hair is quite short it's easier to achieve.. If you have long hair it might be better to use a small curling iron to create a very tight spiral curl, then rolling the curl towards the head and pinning to the hair in the same way...

I hope that isn't confusing.. :flower:

xx

^thanks for the info! i was thinking if rollers can be done because i have shoulder length hair. but i was thinking of perming it because im quite lazy haha. but if i dont perm it, i will try to roll it instead

I'm here for waves to...

Looks like they just braied her hair.

While your hair is wet, do maybe 3 or 4 braids, wait for your hair to dry, take them out and put hairspray, gel, or mousse to hold the wave.

OR

If your hair is dry already and you don't feel like washing it again, braid the hair the same as the other way, and then use a straightner and straighten your hair in the braids. Take the braids out and use gel, mousse, or hairspray to keep the wave in place.

If you want it to be gently wavy, do less braids. If you want it to look crimped, put more braids.

Thanks for your help :flower:

but i really want a device which can make that kind of waves.
What i call a device it's something like a "Curling Iron" BUT i don't want curl but waves so i would like to know if something like ... "a wave iron" exist!?
I don't want to make braids, and it doesn't work for me. I really want to use something which will make waves easy and quikly!

Maybe i'm gonna buy this http://www.priceminister.com/image?...e=900&prdimageid=780939791&productid=61195731
because the device n° 2 on the pic where you can see written "new" seem to make kinda waves.
But i'm not sure it's gonna be really fantastic...

So if someone know something else... :flower:
