i'm from li too was glad to leave though, i must say...

but anyway. i have a medium trigger in black and i LOVE it. definitely a big botkier fan. however, are you intending on using the bag for books? if so, it won't work. definitely not big enough. even the clyde... i don't think the handles will be durable enough for that heavy load.

how about one of marc jacobs' fall totes?

I carry my books in my hand. I have so many breaks between classes I never have to carry more then one book at once. The bag would be to hold my cellphone, make up, brush, pens , agenda book..etc. I was looking at the Kooba claudia and sienna. I love the style of the claudia but I was told that the leather wasn't great on Kooba bags. I don't own one myself so I don't know.

I didn't see the marc jacobs fall bags. Very cute. I still love the blake so thats def my next marc jacobs bag.

Crepeblacksatin! I think your are soooo right about the marc jacobs, I thing that's the best choice if you are trying to avoid the "IT" bag, go for it!!!! I think peopele are forgetting about marc!

The fall mj's are really cute. I was just browsing the website. Anyone know any good legit website's I could order it off of? I know about eluxury and aside from upscale department store sites, i dont trust many others.


I'm still admiring that kooba claudia bag, but it seems to be sold out everywhere. It would be cute just to throw on to run errands, and would match my new boots perfectly.

I like Isabella Fiore's Whip Flash bag a lot, which actually looks similar to the Kooba shown here, which I like for the simplicity. It also has a nice price tag from what I've seen.

I have a Kooba bag and I love it to death. The leather on Kooba bags is very, very nice - with the exception of the whipstitch bags (it isn't as nice as the leather on their other collections). I know someone who owns the Chiara, which is the smaller version of the Claudia and she sayd the leather is very soft. She loves her bag. The Claudia is available at eluxury.com and lunaboston.com

Well, I own the Claudia and I have no problems with the leather - it is rather thick, slightly distressed and soft.

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the site and in need of an opinion. I want to get a new bag for fall, but I want to stay away from the "it" bag. Too many knockoffs of bags like the Chloe Paddington, fendi spy, and Balenciaga make me sick and I dont want people to assume my bag is fake because 80% of them are. I love the real ones, but the chloe and fendi spy are practically impossible to get. I know I'm going to eventually get the Balenciaga even tho it's an "it" bag right now. I just love it, but I was also looking at the Botkier Trigger Luxe for right now. What does everyone think of Botkier? I like the clyde also but Im going to use it as a day bag to hold everything I need it for a day on campus at school. If not the Botkier, what would be a good bag for me to use for school in the $600-700 price range?

I know some of you are gonna say wait for the balenciaga if i'm willing to spend that much, but I wouldn't mind having both and using one as an everyday bag and the other ( obviously the balenciaga) for more special occasions.

Help! ( sorry for the long post, but I'm getting so frustrated on what bag to get!)

oooh I love the trigger! I was just eyeing this trigger last night on active endeavors. With a coupon it comes to 500 something and Heidi Klum has one so I dont care how many other people hate it. It might become my it bag for fall since I cant afford a mulberry jacquetta.

That fiore bag is sooo cute. I still can't find the kooba bag. The camel color is sold out and I want either a brown of plum color since my whole fall wardrobe is browns and cream colors. I'm gonna look into the fiore bag and the botkier. I want a bag not many people have or know about, and of course, one that will draw a little bit of attention, in a good way.

I saw this bag also. So now i'm looking at this bulga, the botkier, and the fiore. Does anyone know how the leather quality bulga has? I haven't heard much about it, except that Jessica Simpson has one.

Depends on how much you want to spend. According to the fashion mags, snakeskin and grommets are IT this season (which means I will be carrying neither ).

Unless you have bucketsful of money, my vote is for a Gerard Darel handbag...leather, hobo-style and under $400 usd. Not bad...

I searched through all the topics here and I didn't find a topic similar or that answered my question so I hope maybe you can help me!

I'm interested in purchasing a Chanel tote bag to use as a laptop carrier. There is a specific one that I am looking for but I think it is a few seasons old now and I can't find the images via google or MSN.

Mischa Barton's character on the OC, Marissa Cooper used one as a school bag. It is black, matte, and looked quilted. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or where I can find an image or one? Are they still selling it.

If not, can anyone post similiar bags that would make a great laptop carrier. I'm not into huge logos or monograms. (I'm not looking to go broke but I'm not gonna be cheap about it either...if that helps you narrow the price range!)
