^Awww... that sucks. :( Did you return the bag though?

I was asking about Tod's because my dad recently got my mom a bag... well from Tod's.

He was supposed to get my mom a Balenciaga Twiggy bag, but for some reason, he ended up buying a bag from Tod's.

I think this is beautiful!

I am going to the Bahamas the end of February for a long weekend, and I am looking for a new travel bag that is practical and that I could bring with me on the plane. Also, something feminine yet possibly worn in/distressed? What do you stylish ladies bring?! B)

LeSportSac makes some nice travel bags...
nylon so they are flexible and easy to store... often come in fun designs and colors...

i haven't bought any of their bags lately but they tend to have some good options from what i remember and are pretty affordable for the most part

A friend of mine that travels down that way quite a bit has bought the Prada canvas/jacquard bags (larger sizes) and she has liked them very much. Have fun.

Luna: The M by MJ bag looks stellar. I like the color too :)

I'm looking for a camera bag or case that isn't the typical Lowepro nylon zip-up. My camera is approximately 7" x 6" x 5" and I carry it with me all the time, everywhere I go, so I want to look good! Does anybody know where I could get a great looking bag, maybe in leather?

I have a Digital SLR with a 2.8 lens that is quite large. I didn't have a camera bag, but had a Kate Spade black nylon tote with a large mouth that zippers up that works perfect. Since the bag is slung around at so many events, the nylon works best for me, plus it repels water.

I am a college student, looking to buy a beautiful investment handbag. Something with great quality that isn't too hard to match with various outfits. I am leaning towards leather and medium sized...but I am open to a lot of possibilities. I feel like I will know the right bag when I see it. I don't want a bag that everyone else has, and it needs to be somewhat sturdy. Any suggestions for me? I would really appreciate it!

Colors? Hobo? Tote? size??

are you into more structured? or slouchy? Do you prefer handheld? Shoulder? Convertible?

Thanks for replying. Here are some details:

Color - Yellow, Blue or Brown
Hobo or Tote would be great
I prefer a bag that is a shoulder bag, not handheld. As for structured or slouchy, I am not sure, I think I would be okay with either and it would depend on the exact bag. I know I have not given you guys a lot to work with, but I would really appreciate any suggestions at all!

If you go a little bit over budget (by about $100) you could get a Jerome Dreyfuss bag, like this Billy bag. I use mine at uni and it is quite roomy (I think I have a medium, but you can also get a large like this one.

I want to invest in my first quality handbag not exceeding $400.
*A classic piece yet has something unique to it so it doesn't look so plain.
*Color: black, grey, purple (maybe)
*Style: leather, shoulder strap, oversized but not too heavy, structured or slouchy is fine

So far, I've been looking into Mulberry, Tod's, and Marc by MJ. Any recommendations as to brands or style? Thanks!

what kind of bags do you usually wear/travel for a ski resort?

also what kind of bag do you wear/travel to a see resort - it has to be comfi - as I'd walk a lot - so something that is worn over the shoulder but with short handles too?

You definitely need a convertible bag... and a good wearing leather, or maybe even something more durable like nylon.

Hm. I use my HH Ibiza when traveling... It's not incredibly fashionable, but it's a great looking bag and perfect for traveling.

thank you Luna
pict e-bay, mytheresa and luisaviaroma com

which one of these 3 ? they all have long and short handles, the tods - beige and miu miu - white off can be worn across the chest.

If you're travelling, i dont think the Marc Jacobs Carter bag would work (pink w/ studs). It's note very functional, though it's a beautiful line. I own the coco tote from the same line in charcoal grey and i LOVE the bag to no end.

I think of all of your choices, I would go with the miu miu bow tote bag .. but not in white, in the tan/camel/saddle color (whatever miu miu calls it, I dont recall at the moment)

You should be able to get a MbyMJ Dr Q Groovee Satchel on eBay for around that price. it comes in all of those colors, grey, purple, ... you should also be able to score a bag from the MJ Carter line on eBay for around that price also. LOVE this line. Reminds me of the sweet punk line.
