I am torn between these two Mulberry SS/06 handbags: Araline and Angelica, both in Coconut ( off white colour ).


The front pocket on the Araline looks a bit weird, and off balance. But I think it would be quite practical for sweets, train tickets and other small things.

I haven't seen the Araline in person so I will need to find a store that stocks it.
Do you think the front pocket makes the bag look off-balanced?


I love the Angelica - it is simple and the leather is really buttery. Aside from the Mulberry logo on the studs, the bag looks like something you could pick up for 10 GBP ( about 17 US$ ).


Ladies, what do you think?

Hey guys! I need some serious handbag advice. I'm ready to splurge on a designer shoulder bag, small to medium size, that I can take out to bars and clubs, that's fancy enough to go to parties but not TOO fancy so I can still wear it with jeans.

I'd like something in this size (big enough to hold a small wallet, phone, lipgloss, keys and digital camera), but nothing with logos.

Any ideas? A Chanel pochette would be nice if it didn't have those large CCs on it, and the LV epi pochette seems too small. To be completely honest, I'd like something that's clearly designer, but no logos. Something I'd know my parents and boyfriend wouldn't recognize (they don't understand paying a lot of money for bags) but my girlfriends would. Any ideas?

Marc Jacobs has some great small/medium size bags. Just depends on your price range. I don't like the LV posted above. JMO.

Pietonne - have you considered a balenciaga classique? It is relatively small, no logos, but recognizeable as a high end bag.

Thanks for the quick suggestions! Aspen, I don't like the bag above either, I just like the size (I'm not a big LV fan). And fashion_junky, I like the classique a lot, I'm just still deciding whether the whole motorcycle style fits with MY style (I'm quite preppy, kind of "college campus style," since I'm, well, in college).

I'll definitely consider both of your suggestions!!

belt bags

Does anybody have any suggestions on belt bags? I really love the purse that looks like a big wallet attatched to a simple belt. I've seen different versions that look like fanny packs or gun holsters, which i don't like. This Gucci is what i kinda like but I never really liked Gucci monograms or colors. I looked at LV and Armani and several others but I haven't found anything on belt bags or maybe I'm not looking hard enough at there website. Any suggestions would be awesome

I don't know if you can use these as a belt bag but here's some more I found:

If you have a boutique near you, you should definitely inquire about the last two being used as a belt bag. Or call 866vuitton, they can probably help you more than I can

If anyone sees a decent sized white leather bag (I'm talking eqivalent or bigger than a magazine-sized)... please take down the designer and style!! I'm getting a bit desperate here.

I'm even talking like even if you see a cute bag in Urban outfitters or something...

I really dont want to spend lots of $$$ on a white bag. thanks !
