luna~ thanks, i was looking like a zombie until almost midnight last night and i couldn't find anything! i used to have that coach bag, but the logo thing kinda got to me after a while. i know they did a purple and ocelot one, but im pretty sure they never did a solid leather one unless it came out as another collection

I'll keep an eye out for it.. but yea. I agree on not being very impressed with the MK saratoga... it's kinda... too small.. and not that great.

Good question . I don't know since I haven't seen the bag IRL, but I think one would risk the average amount of nicking or pulling if the stitches were snagged.

i want another cute top handle type bag, hand bag.....something rounded in shape and sorta along the lines of the michael kors saratoga, or the coach . pics here from ebay....

i think the straps on the saratoga look awkward and i dont really love the print on the coach.....

I'm thinking about getting a new bag for school, I've been using one of those Roots initial tote bags for quite a while now but I'm getting tired of it and I don't like how it doesn't stand up by itself at all, I always have to find something to lean it up against so it doesn't fall over and get dirty (school floors are disgusting, I hate putting my stuff down on them ). Anyways, I guess my requirements are that it needs to be able to hold a folder for paper (9" X 12"?) and maybe a textbook too, plus my wallet, 2 bottles of water, and have at least two or three inside pockets for stashing small necessary items. Sounds like I should just stick with my Roots tote, lol. Anyway, if anyone has ideas I'd appreciate them. I seem to like simple, practical designs, the only bags I own are my Roots tote and a couple of very plain black nylon bags. Totally opposite from my taste in shoes, for sure.

I think this Kate Spade tote is really cute but I'm not sure if it would be easy to get on over my shoulder with that strap length and it only has one inside pocket.
