Harper’s Bazaar France November 2023 : Vanessa Paradis by Alasdair McLellan

I've always thought she had a unique sort of beauty, but the split teeth is hit or miss, and this is definitely a miss.
The Chanel skates are offensive, because you know they cost more than mortgage payment.

I don't like the cover.
The black& white doesn't attract me.
Video of the contents.

Well, they've gotta get the icons out of the way.

I feel like a good stylist/photographer/model would have made us believe she was about to put on those Chanel roller skates and terrorize the streets of Paris. What we have here is so sad "look... I'm holding these dumb Chanel roller skates"

People could just buy any of Vanessa's French Elle covers, if Bazaar are not going to do anything interesting with her.

I knew it : the cover does not work but the editorial is very promising
I love her, she's very iconic in France.
Happy to see her still being on covers after so many years

I am bored. You have 3 issues and you feel like you have seen everything.

Always the same kind of editorials, the same people, the same styling.

My one complaint with the cover is the fact Vanessa isn't gazing out toward us readers, but other than that, I'm a fan. It's fun, I love the black and white photography from McLellan here teamed with that shade of pink. Of course, Vanessa Paradis wearing Chanel is always a good idea - will always and forever approve of that partnership!

The cover photo could have been much better judging by the rest of the photographs. There are some great moments captured by Alasdair McLellan.

Can someone pls tell Olivier that just copy the old Paris Vogue aesthetics under Joan Juliet and Carine?
