I think we'll be left feeling pretty nauseous at the end of the year when we see this cover. STOP, IT'S EVERYWHERE.

I was very interested in the first previews of Bazaar Italia under M/M Paris' direction, but this has left me rather underwhelmed so far. It works, it's not bad by any means, but I admittedly expected more. The cover select evokes something of a Sozzani-ism for me, it's interesting and unexpected - but it works.

It’s because Jamie only has one POV for his work and it’s all copy and paste. It’s also uncomfortably similar to the Issey Miyake campaign and other work in the last two years. Talk about a one trick pony…

This works way better than US Vogue's cover and story with Emma which Jamie did, simply because he can't work with celebrities. The off-kilter quality of his images require the relative anonymity of a fashion model to work. And even if the cover story is a Prada retrospective, it's always lovely to see the S/S 09 collection being out to use!
