UK Vogue May 2019 : Kate Moss by Jamie Hawkesworth, Mikael Jansson & Inez & Vinoodh

I love Jamie's cover, I just wish all the text was on the right hand side - the 'Forever Kate' is killing it for me. I like MJ's cover too and I&V's isn't bad, it's a shame that those two covers are so similar though.

Thrilled to see Kate on Vogue again, she's such a legend and I can't help but love her.

I love the first cover.
The one by Jansson is okay.
The one by I&V is like a mix of these two covers of Kate for Vogue Paris and this one by Alexandra

Design scene and daily mail

Is it shade that I like the Hawkesworth cover the best?! Kate holds the record for BV covers so I like the unexpected nature of her angle and crop. Just the eyes and you know it's her! The JW Anderson durag is also *chef's kiss*

Jamie's cover is the best, love the lighting, although none of these are great...must say though that I don't think they are as dire as others have pointed out here.

Mikael...such a big fan of course, but he's really only very good working with the stylists he's had by his side for the last decade plus. I almost can't tell the difference between his and I&V's covers here.

So I guess we got our answer about Meisel and Kate's reuniting...:innocent:

Which are both better than this effort.

I'm tired of being hopeful every month that Edward can somehow impress us by giving out some actual good work...

Come Dine With.......Kate Moss? LOL. (Who else on here watch that show?)

Chicken looks a bit dry, and I'm not sure who told people it's ok to stuff a whole onion. But oh well. Loved when she said 'What happened to just shooting the cover and not doing this?'.......meaning her arm may have been twisted into doing this video.

''It's too this, it's too that...'', whatever. I L O V E it and I can't wait to buy it and appreciate it forever, you can never go wrong with Kate even though it would've been even more glorious if Edward convinced Meisel to shoot her next month.

I've said time and time again that Edward convincing Meisel to shoot Kate, would've been a major moment and a massive achievement in itself. Guess when you loose out on Meisel, three covers by three different photographers is enough to compensate... and I'm not complaining.

The cover by Mikael Jansson is my favorite and I am immediately drawn to Inez & Vinoodh's due to the styling (and similarity between the Vogue Paris cover from November 2009). Jamie Hawkesworth's is something different for both Kate and British Vogue but the composition completely ruins it.

All 3 are TERRIBLE... Worst Ed's work for Vogue UK!

+ A beauty supplement with Jane Fonda on the cover, Grace Elizabeth in the jewelry section and Lara Stone with Richard Madden by McLellan!

Nothing looks good in that review ‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

And so the L'Oreal-sponsored supplement appears... doesn't seem that 'groundbreaking'.

The supplement seems more interesting.
