I love the shot of him on the phone looking directly into the camera, I know that it probably felt very invasive for Hayden but compared to most paparazzi photos this paparazzo knows how to take photos.

Oh lol, that reminds me, I was listening to a postcast dealing with "how the paparazzi work" some time ago and I remember they said that there's a major difference between the West and East coast snappers, on the west coast it's basically people who mainly focus on hunting/stalking celebs (usually without any training in photography, which is quite obvious in most cases) whereas on the East coast, mainly NY, there's nowhere near the same amount of paps as in LA (obviously) so often candid photos are shot by pro photographers, the kind that work for respectable newsagencies and similar, who were on their way to another assignment and such, hence the really nice quality of that shot of Hayden.
Personally I find the style quite similar to sports photography.
It's too bad DH isn't all that good at naming their source, and sort of steals the credit for shots.......mmmmgrrr
