Merci beaucoup. She was a great artist, and I think there is still a lot we can learn by studying her work from different angles.:flower:

Many thanks for the pictures Ieva. But it's so sad looking at them, knowing she's dead - and died so horribly barely a month ago. I almost think these threads should be closed (not really) so we can get on with life.

It feels odd and very sad seeing the photos now but I think it´s a nice way of celebrating her and her work.

I agree. The thing about Heather is that she was such a wonderful creative talent. I can't imagine that she would want us to stop enjoying and being inspired by her work. None of us are here permanently. When we leave, it would be nice to leave behind a legacy of elegance and grace. And Heather has done that in an extraordinarily beautiful way. It's a gift to us all.

i know that's a way of celebrating her and her work but seeing the pics of her glorious and unfortunately short career (& life) the sadness of her terrific death prevails:cry:

There is no question that it's a stunning loss. To have such an incredible talent ripped away from us just as she was peaking creatively is really almost too much. But that is just how devastating life can be sometimes. None of us knows anything about the future. There are no guarantees about anything for any of us. We all live by a thread. It can all be taken away in an instant. Sometimes it takes a radical tragedy to remind us how fleeting life and beauty really are. Every one of us will one day have to walk down the path that Heather has already traveled. Let's just hope that we can do it as courageously and beautifully as she did.

Some HQs from HOLLYWOODSBEST:
Paris Feb 2006 - Chanel - she's right behind Lagerfeld:

Paris Feb 2006 - Marni:

She always looked so very serious.
By the way, I wrote to US VOGUE, BAZAAR & ELLE recommending they run some sort of tribute to her: a page - a column - some pictures - anything. It's the least they can do. And anyone who cares about her memory - about keeping it alive - you should all write these magazines straight away!

I think that is a wonderful idea. I will write to these magazines too!
