Last month a fashion designer made high heels for men. Rui Leonardes, a young shoe designer, made this big step. May be, in the near future, more men will walk in high heels on the street. Are we ready for this fashion change? How do you think the men in high heels look like?

i saw the show... and i thought what he did was extremely interesting. he called his line/show "offend"!!!
these models on the catwalk, with high heeled boots, looked good... i must admit. we are ready for the change, and attempts will multiply.

When I read the online article on Rui Leonardes high heels for men, I rushed to this forum and thread to see if I might be the first to bring it up, but Emery beat me to it (and someone else in yet another thread, no less). I like the look. They're not much different from what I all ready buy and wear, but I was curious about the comment by Kneehighs regarding skinny leg pants. I more often choose bootleg, or even some flare. What's the opinion of others regarding the appropriate pantleg style, as pictured or otherwise?

Not sure if this is entirely true or not but if anyone here recalls "Jaws" from James Bond movies, the actor who played him was pretty tall, over 6ft, but the shoes were of a boot-type (lead soles, not heels as such) to make him appear far taller (this plus other camera tricks).

I haven't seen any pictures from the show but it sounds interesting. I recently tried on some high-heeled boots - it probably looked stupid but it felt great (until I tried to walk in them, of course).

Well I don't like those white high heel boots, but I do like high heels on man, I've got few pair of boots with heels and I'm planning to get more, but man it does hurt your legs and foot to walk with those the whole day.
