Heels for Men

^I agree. I am not ready for men in heels. I love a cuban heel, such as the Dior Homme boot mentioned above(amazing), but anything higher is too much, such as the YSL Johnny boot.

I don't understand that if they are gonna put more heel on mens shoes, why do they have to make the whole shoe look like a women shoe?
I actually like YSL johnny boots, they look nice with nice jeans.

this is ridiculous, obviously done for show/shock value.

however-
I ADORE beatle boots on boys and they have a varying heel height.
By no means should a man ever EVEN CONSIDER wearing a high skinny heel.

there is a fine line between pushing boundaries and plain silliness.

In my opinion-
This is the highest heel I should ever see on a boy.

Is it a wonder you have the word "Stern" in your user name?
These quotes in my opinion, portray a strict disciplinarian correcting disobedient children--the final authority who knows right from wrong. I think that if people want to be fulfilled, they have to be free enough to wear what they want from their heart. This forum is prosperous in diversity and rich in variety but grown Men might not feel that freedom if they are being called "boys" or "silly". Grown Women might not feel much freedom either if they were being called "girls" or "silly."

As for me, I'm going to continue to invest in diversity and fashion freedom--it makes the world a very interesting place.

Here's my alternative to the white boots (agreed, not too cool!). Not too feminine, IMO:

very true! but then again can shoes look masculine when they have a heel!?

Guys look HOT in heels, IMO, but that's not for everyone. Pete Doherty looks so cute in them!

why are you hung up on terms like "masculine"? If it looks good, it looks good. Simple as that. There's a lot of women who shouldn't wear stilettos, but do.

I really feel that heels for men should be substantial, and the general shape less dainty. A man in shoes with super-pointy toes and stilettoe heels looks like a cross-dresser to me. (And it's also not exactly in style for either men or women these days, is it?)

Hi Tott,

I have to agree a little bit. A male heels fashion shouldn't be too feminine. I'm pondering about cowgirl's boots or slim stacked heels for guys. Sandals with narrow belts and decorated with swarovsky stones or flowers have no chance to become a male fashion. The major problem for me is that there isn't any male heels fashion at the moment. Hence I'm robbing reckless in the ladies section. Also pointy stiletto boots :woot: In my opinion the guy on Soraya's right picture is looking really sexy! I love wearing the same style. With black stretch jeans and a narrow top shirt.

nice greetings

micha

I think high heels look pretty silly on most women. i think soem men coudl wear them well if it fits their style and body(slim). I like the Rick Owen's boots. I think a more platform glam rock style would look best on men, and not to pointed.

am still teying to look for a photo of Prince...
