Interesting, because as I've noticed from the way you dress (you cross gender boundaries and for that I applaud you ), you'd be the perfect candidate for wearing heels and I think, with the right pair (not fetish heels), you'd look good in them too.Beautiful Stranger said:But most of you guys, are you really interested in FASHION or just in heels on yourself? Cause must of you are clearly only posting in this and similar threads. I have no problems w/ women's shoes, wear it myself, but would never wear a heel, as i don't feel it look good on me. I feel that most of this are more, almost an fetish for heels, and it kinda scares me.. (but then again fetishes, S&M etc always have scared the living sh** out of me)

with all due respect your reply made me giggle a little..
not liking a guy in heels is not comparable to wanting a woman who cooks, cleans, walks your dog, etc...
did i say i want him to bring home the bacon? nope
i like MENS SHOES, i find them sexy on a man. as a woman, i simply find it a turn off when a man wears ladies shoes, thats all.
i did in no way imply its wrong. but in this thread, there surely are some examples which from a fashion point of view AND MY (i clearly state MY) point of view are a huge NO NO. its nothing to do with being stylish anymore.
and nowhere did i say i like men with big feet. i would even moreso like "no" heels on men who have a 40 shoe size
to each their own but pls dont put words in my mouth

I was merely wondering if there is a gap in the marketplace to accommodate a man's desire to wear footwear that is beyond the boundaries of traditional men's wear. Because commerce usually fills in any void in goods, it is particularly thought provoking for me - sexism built into commerce that restricts choice and curtails freedom of expression. At the same time, the market aims a 'man wearing heels' toward eccentric and sexually controversial goods.
I just find this issue to be very interesting.

Beautiful Stranger said:i agree with you on pants, however, sneakers and jeans i disagree with, as it's not a "oldfashioned" male type of clothing like trousers etc. Sneakers especially is a "new" item which has been considered, as far as i know, unisex since it got "invented". Jeans has been around forever, but again, as far as i know, been a more "worker(wo)man"-kind of garment, and not a item just for male's.
And then again, there's no need to discuss this with me, as i'm totally for everybody to wear whatever they want. Just don't critize me for not wanting to wear dresses, skirts and heels. I think it's really hard for a man-ish looking man to pull off a skirt, dress or a pump, but that's only my opinion.
