Christensen: 'i Don't Envy Moss' Life'

Supermodel HELENA CHRISTENSEN feels sorry for catwalk pal KATE MOSS and is glad she doesn't have to put with such invasive media attention.
The Danish beauty is delighted she is not constantly scrutinised in the newspapers - and doesn't know how Moss puts up with it all.
She tells Closer magazine, "I'm so grateful I don't live like that. I'd end up smacking the camera back in the paparazzi's faces!"

that's because Helena is an act of class, she's a lady. ^_^

''Christensen was always the edgiest of the supers, the least commercial, the hippy chick who did not get a solo cover of US Vogue''

That is damn true and really odd. Every model from her generation has got one except her.

''or many lucrative luxury fashion contracts, something she appears to be rectifying since her “retirement”. In recent years she has modelled for Marks & Spencer, Carlsberg beer, Walkers Crisps and today we are talking about her new role fronting Ariel laundry detergent’s planet-saving campaign to make us clean our clothes at 30C.''

This is too much... she had quite good contracts even after her retirement from active modeling. Enough to mention Allesandro Dell'Acqua or Emanuel Ungaro, Mont Blanc, etc. But I would not say same about magazine covers... just 2 Vogue, 1 ELLE and 2 GQ-s. I agree she could do even better but we all set our priorities differently as time goes by and it is probably good not for a fan who is longing to see his or her fav model on the cover of the magazine or top advertisment campaign but for a person who is developing. I dearly respect this in her.

sorry???? but beautiful photo!

the text is about how good life, without alcohol and partying is a path to looking good. lots of water, healthy life...

I don't think she was the least commercial and if she didn't get a solo vogue covers it was simply 'cause Helena was not a fav of Anna Wintour, the same happened with Yasmeen Ghauri. only Anna knows why.

I hated that Helena was not included in top 10 group of 1992, Helena or Stephanie deserved to be there instead of Niki Taylor :ninja:

I don't get that, she did Versace, Revlon, Chanel ..... I hate that article, it seems as if they are talking about Susan Holmes or Emma S. I mean, it's Helena, one of the top 10.

I would really appreciate If any of you could add something to the dossier that I have started like 2 years ago;-)

add D&G to the advertisement list, that's like the whole cast of a fashion show :woot:

Helena, Carla Bruni, Brandi Quiñones, Carré Otis, Shalom Harlow, Isabella Rosellini, Amber Valletta, Karen Mulder, Michelle Hicks, Trish Goff, Nadja Auermann, Debbie Deitering, Meghan Douglas and two girls whose name I don't know.

Exactly... it speaks about her as the best she did was Walker Crisps ... but even after retiring she did quite some and especially in the era of Hating Supermodels...

As of Anna, I think she is complete B... and very subjective person some believe defining fashion priorities which is a pute crap... Interestingly Helena never did Italian Vogue too;-) just Beuty supplement but nevertheless I think and no need to admit she was, is and will be one of the greatest supermodels ever and I am sure som great covers are still waiting for her;-)

I think it's an ad, I also had doubt 'cause that's not the classic logo but if Paul Starr says it's an ad it's an ad  there also some D&G ads with Brooke Shields that I had never seen before.
