Supermodel Helena Christensen has turned down a starring role on The Real Housewives of New York City.
The 45-year-old declined an invitation to join the cast of the Bravo reality series, which has suffered from a ratings slump, according to Page Six.
The Danish beauty, who lives in Manhattan's trendy West Village neighborhood, can often be seen strolling the streets of New York with her boyfriend of six years, Interpol singer Paul Banks.

by the way during last two days she was involved in some major editorial work as a photographer for Purple Fashion. She shot Irina Lazareanu, Erin Wesson, Michele Hicks, Alek Wek, Poppy Delevinge, Hannelore Knuts, Coco Rocha, Josephine Skriver and Caroline de Maigret... sound like a very cool cast to me...

would be nice but she doesn't seem that interested in them either...

the piece from Oak is actually really quite good! Her words are just admirable...

I saw a picture on instagram... she is posing with the editor of ELLE Germany at some kind of ball in Vienna... so you never know...

Also as a photographer she did an epic shoot with lots of amazing models for Purple Magazine... I guess this is something to look forward to;-)
