i bought a navy sweater from banana the other day that feels very sailor-inspired.....
love it.....casual and comfy.....
perfect thing to wrap around your shoulders when you're sitting by the beach as the sun goes down sipping a cocktail and its getting chilly.....

^the girl there kind of looks like the one that lost on America's next top model--i can't remember which season, but it's the one with Shendi.

Giorgio Armani also did a nautical inspired collection for spring/summer 2004. I was really surprised seeing the references in the accessories.

Check out the fish-netting

I remember also seeing somewhere in the 2004 collection some jewelled embroidery in the shapes of seashells; and I think there was a shrimp on one of the lady's hats?? But I can't find any photos or close-ups of that... I wonder if it's in a different collection of his.
If anyone knows, please TELL ME!!!!! you can PM me or whatever. i need to find those again:shock:
