I do not understand this trend at all.

Are you all dressing up or dressing down?
PICK ONE.

(Does everyone else love or hate this?)

this is/has been really common for a long time... i also think it's classic at this point...

This is not a trend. It's a style, and I think it'll never go away, because it's so classic now. I like all the examples you posted too. :p

Is a classic... Just personally I really like it, but just the same as with any other clothing / shoes combinations, you really need them to complement. I really didn't like the last picture you posted - just looks ugly. But the combination itself - heels and jeans - I like.

Where ya been Papa Levante? This style has been around for ages now. It's nothing new and it looks fab!

i don't like jeans/heels either. i think 95% of the time it comes off silly and not very natural feeling

LOVE heels and jeans.
very chic sophisticated style.
you have to have the complete look though
the right heels
the right jeans
the right top
some better examples

Agree that this is well beyond a current trend- it's a classic style.
A great way to dress up jeans...
or dress down heels...
just depends on how you look at it.:p

i love high heels with jeans as i'm short. and the best thing about it that it works almost everywhere.

High heels usually suggest class. Everything from high-heeled pumps to wedges to boots are perfectly able to be worn with jeans. I have a friend who doesn't wear high-heels, but has some rather low-heeled pumps worn with some skinny jeans she was wearing (her figure is appropriate that she looks great in them. There isn't a rule stating women shouldn't wear jeans with high heels. Jeans can be sexy for the lady wearing them. It goes back to feeling comfortable in what you wear.

I think the classiest touch of high-heels and jeans are when the high-heeled shoes look classy and the jeans looking somewhere between classy and sexy. After I was done with one of my Finals this past Monday, I noted a lady wearing some high-heeled shoes (probably pumps) and these jeans that look like trousers. I'm talking about jeans that look like dressy trousers, only look more like jeans than dress pants. Anyhow, she looked beautiful with the combination of high heels and jeans. Another style of jeans that have looked great with high-heels are jeans that don't have back pockets. I always considered these back pocketless jeans to be very sexy. The most popular back pocketless jeans you'll normally see are from Angels. You may see some more exotic style jeans that don't have back pockets and have a variety of seam patterns. I think wearing those specific kinds of jeans adds sex appeal to you as a lady. Sure, you lose functionality without two pockets, but with nice high-heel pumps or shoes, you look great. Finally, you have denim jeans that appear more like dress pants and are usually exclusive to very dark blue denim (example: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/c...ed&srccode=cii_13736960&cpncode=11-42349331-2 ). Now I know that you're thinking. They are dress pants, but I think they are usually classified as jeans probably because they are made out of denim.

I don't think there's anything really wrong with high heels and jeans. Everything from pumps to wedges are all fair game with jeans. Everything from skinny leg to "elephant" bellbottom jeans (meaning jeans with a great amount of flare to the legs). So try to pull off a high-heel + jeans look that best suits you!

^ I haven't seen jeans without the back pocket. Have just tried to look up angel jeans but no luck... ^ Any photos? Sorry a little off topic but if they look that good with high heels I'm interested...

I think it looks best with a somewhat dressy top. Hate jeans + heels + sloppy top.

Oh i love jeans and heels :) I never wear jeans these days though but those pics have somewhat inspired me to hehe.
