High Heels With Shorts?

Personally I think that shorts and heels are an absolute no no. Then again I'm not a fan of shorts anyway - they're for much older women who wouldn't dare wear short skirts.

Heels are great with skirts, dresses and trousers. Although I don't wear trousers, heels make them look feminine (especialy work suits).

Carrie Bradshaw could pull it off. End of the list in my opinion.

im sorry but shorts and heels only makes me think of really trashy or sl*tty girls.. possible guys

me too makes me think trashy cuz my first memory of a certain secretary of my dads was a spagetti strap shirt, shorts, stockings and heels.. :yuk:

shes now my stepmom by the way. :ninja:

I believe shorts are best worn when you are going swimming in the lake or you are gardening, or generally doing something kinda grubby and ultra-informal. I wear them when it is seven kinds of hotter than hell outside, when I am riding my bike to and from work. Not getting heatstroke is way more important to me than looking chic. I will agree that shorts aren't really a terribly classy look, but as I said, when push comes to shove and the humidity and temperatures rise, I am going to plunk for comfort every time.

That said, I won't wear shorts to the shops or a restaurant, and I change into my work clothes in the ladies' toilets before I go into the office.

i personally love the look. here's a good example:

for me, I only will wear the look with my bermuda shorts because I think bermuda shorts need to be dressed up to not look sporty and heels and a tucked in button down do the job. However, I love the way prada wears it. I think thats fab :flower:

i think it looks hot
Louis Vuitton and Chloe always do that look

I could never pull it off.
me too

i think they only good on either tall or very thin girls, and i'm none of that :P

I think its an awesome look, I would wear it if I could but its not something I could pull off.

Definately do it if you think it'll suit you!!

If you like the idea, I say go for it. When you have the confidence, you can look really hot.

Kirsten Dunst looks amazing. she did it right. i adore the style. i like how pamella roland did it for her spring runway show

i saw far too many girls wearing this look to the gallery opening i attended last night...

but what i think is far far worse ...is 1980's style high heel pseudo 'cowboy boots'...with shorts of any kind...

these boots with a 2-21/2 inch heel are one of the worst things to happen in the eighties and it seems these young girls don't know the difference between what a cool cowboy boot looks like and what a thom mccann cowboy boot looks like... :yuk:

and then i saw someone wearing them with royal blue nylon vintage running shorts!!!...a la olivia newton john in the 'physical' video...i wanted to put my eyes out it was so painful...  :yuk:

newsflash...not everything from the eighties was cool...!!!... :ninja:

I think shorts & high heels is not very nice!
