then with what?... rolled up jeans is the only thing they look good with ...imo...
and even that is questionable... :ninja:
or jeans tucked in topped with a blazer.. B)
i still prefer a regular cowboy boot for that...preferably justin's or chippewa... :flower:

Yeah! More like what Francisco Costa did for Calvin Klein's spring collection. I loved it, though I think the look would be a better if the the length was a happy medium between the first and the second look posted below.

What about this style done at Celine for the Spring 2004 show? I really like it.
yah...it's great on a runway or in a picture...but where would you go that it would be appropriate...

maybe lounging on your yacht?!?!... :P :innocent:

hehehe   . Next time i go on my yacht i'll wear that look, hahaha.

It looks good on the runway and in photos, but i've seen to many sl*tty girls in my town wearing it badly to like it, with they're skimpy mini-shorts

p.s i don't really have a yacht ;) haha.

If I did try to pull it off, I would wear it with tailored khaki shorts and short heels. Not super high heels. The sl*tty factor would increase in proportion with the high heels. And I would also agree you can pull this look off at a yatch party in St. Tropez(not that i know what they are like) or in the Hamptons or something.

so little people can get away doing that, but if you can get away with it, go ahead!!!!

I love that look... I wear Cowboy boots w/ cropped pants and it looks amazing  Pics soooooonn!!!!!

I just found out this is about shorts, not cropped pants./. Where am I poosting attt!!

here's a really casual look. i would wear this too.

I think the shorts with high heels is okay to wear...but i wouldnt wear it myself. Maybe if the shorts were just past the knee yer i would wear them with high heels. but nothing shorter

I don't know that I ever could, but she seemed to pull it off quite well...

I think this is very adorable too! I love the scarf in her hair and the gold tied shoes.

But I would never wear it because:
1.] Unfortunately I am not blessed in the height department
2.] I don't have the thinnest legs in the world
3.] I would never wear white shorts

But it looks lovely on the model.

But I would wear what Audrey Hepburn is wearing.

Not worn with heels, just casual wedges. She always looks beautiful and sophisticated even in shorts!

This thread is old, and I'm sure some of the previous posters' opinions have changed for the positive.

When I was younger, I learned that heels shouldn't be worn with shorts, but maybe that's just an old rule. I love the look, but I agree with high heels and nice tailored shorts. I think the Daisy Duke look is okay as long as your Daisy Duke.

I was gonna post thing in the well dressed people thread. I saw this chick, she was wearing a pair of kelly green short shorts with a cuff, a pair of really high espadrilles, and a white button down shirt tucked in, with bangles and stuff. I think she was going out, it was a Wednesday though...where is she going?

Im barely coherent at 8AM

I dont mind the shorts and heels combo... but I prefer to pair chunky boots with short shorts. I think it balances out otherwise-too-bare legs....

I like it, in summer with tanned legs, high heels make the legs look longer and leaner. And i don't agree that it's the height of the heel that increases the sl*tty factor, but the actual shorts. No short shorts please, just casual loose shorts.

i dont like that shorts trends at all.it is looking as if you're going to the beach, yes it is normal wearing short while you are on the beach but when you wear it in a evening event it really doesnt look good at all:yuk:
