High Heels

I think a lot of women would be surprised at what they can do if they REALLY gave six inch heels a chance. They're really not as high as you think once you get used to them.

Too many women give up too soon. Whenever I wear 6"+ heels (which is almost everyday) I get a lot of comments like "I wish I could wear heels like that" so believe me I know what I'm talking about.

suzi, no offense but i dont find these high heels attractive at all... i wouldnt want to learn to walk in those either.. and so far i havent seen them look good on anyone

i wish i could say i admire you for being able to walk in those but nfortunately i feel for ur bones and how they must feel  ouch!

hopefully the affect wont be too big in a few years :flower:

I for one really like heels and although I don't wear as high as Suzi I would't be caught dead in less than a four inch heel

As long as there is a heel I'll buy it. I probably own about three pairs of non-heeled shoes. But I'm short, so...

I think anyone can wear heels that are high..you just have to get used to em...I wear six inch heels all the time, but before I couldn't get past 4 inches or wear stilettos. Also finding the right shoe...some shoes are not balanced at all and hurt but if you find a good shoe thats right for your foot then its all great.

In fact, I'm wearing a pair of 6 1/2 inch heels right now :P

Mine look very similar to this one...and I'm not going horizontal trying to walk in them..

Why did you delete the "Let's talk about about high heels" thread and responses started this week?

Why would you "bump" a thread started in 2003?

Shouldn't the members of the forum have the freedom to post whatever topics they choose to without them being edited or deleted arbitrarily?:o

That's a very good question. I have so many really high ones. My boyfriend just bought me a pair of ballet heels like you show here. Those don't count. I don't think I'll ever be able to wear them out of the house.

I think my highest are my Sunset Strip platforms, about 8 1/2". My everyday heels are usually 5-6" of 7" with platforms.

what 7 or 81/2' it's around 17,5cm and 21cm,1inch=2.5cm!

the most heighest heels that never wore were 4inch-10cm!

I think I posted this in some other thread ... I'm comfortable in 3" to 4" heels...higher than that I'm inviting trouble. But neither would I wear flats cos #1, my heels hurts after wearing them for a while and #2, I feel plain dowdy in flats. I've gotten comments like "Why do you wear heels when you're already so tall?" but honestly, IMHO a woman should always wear heels no matter how tall you are.

I always wear something around 4" an also some evening sandals with 5" but thats it. Over 5 everything looks vulgar

Somebody have a picture of 5-6or 7inches shoes with or without platform to see how they look like?

it really depends on what the size of your foot is, not only the height of the heel. here's a picture of a 7-inch (18cm, 180mm) pump without a platform on a size 10:

And that's why the Louboutin 5 inchers would have to be about 6 inches in size 10 to really look like Louboutins. (Thread merge - thread merge!)

8.5 or 9, depending on your foot width.
