But it's in period pieces that Holliday's made her mark: This year alone, she's played a Renaissance-era Italian (in Showtime's The Borgias) and a pair of nineteenth-century aristocrats—one French (in Bel Ami) and one Russian (in November's Anna Karenina). "I guess I have that classic look?" she says.
