You know the best metod to prove some one wrong is not use the same manner in which he/she insulted you...you could have been more open-minded and neglected his/her comment that would put them into embarssment..

In turn you insulted him as well and you insulted the TFS members by a hasty generalization...we dont live in rainbowland where everyone is happy and nice...we should learn to accept differences and comments...

If I expressed my opnion about homosexuality you will probably not like it either...but i accept and respect differences..people have different ways of expressing their opnions and i am sorry if those have expressed it to you in a hurtful way..

TFS is a safe place full of open-minded people...thats why you get discussions like this...you cant expect everyone to support homosexuality...I think people are entitled to express their opnions freely whether they support it or against it..thats an open-minded envrionment...accept differences...B)


P.s : in gerneral i hate sex ads...they are not selling the product more than the sex...its just women are the selling sex...now its like men's turn...what happened to the meaningful funny ads?

I saw a gucci ad with natasha poly & 2 male models, it's in the may vogue. do you think this ad suggests that the 2 men are homosexuals, or are they supposed to be having sex with natasha 2 on 1 like a gang bang?

I liked the Volkswagen ad that was widely viewed as gay, but I am not a fan of the Gucci ads and similar. I do think the Gucci woman is a sl*t, and I am not the target audience. I think they're irresponsible when one of the most dangerous things a woman can do is have sex with a gay or bi man. We have this disease destroying an entire continent as we speak, yet jackasses like Tom Ford and his ilk are promoting this

PS I hadn't read the end of this thread yet ... given that the intolerance aspect has arisen, let me clarify that I am a live and let live kinda gal. I understand that sexuality naturally occurs along a continuum and I have no argument with that. What I'm not a big fan of is indiscriminate promiscuity. As a society, we've tried it, and it's pretty clear to me that it didn't work out, and it's still not working out. Last stats I heard, in the US the age group contracting HIV in the largest numbers is late teens/early 20s. So I view some of those Abercrombie & Fitch ads to be truly irresponsible and potentially destructive.

Sex between men and women has become so overdone in the last decade that we've become desensitized to it. Now advertisers have resorted to same-sex gimmicks to grab our attention. Unfortunately I do not see this as a reflection or even a sign of our society becoming more accepting towards homosexuality, but rather a lack of options in the "things that will shock consumers" department.

That's my opinion on homosexuality in ads.

Excuse me, but what exactly do you mean by this? Because if you mean what I am understanding this comment to mean, which is that AIDS is restricted to gay and bi males, then I'm sorry but your understanding of the entire AIDS disease is severly skewed. If I'm wrong and this is not what you meant then I appologize, but if in fact you did mean that then I have absolutely no reason to feel bad about telling you that you need to learn the facts....all of them
