How Do You Smell Today?

Etat Libre d'Orange Fils de Dieu du Riz des Agrumes

I'm lucky I was even able to type the name.

Etat Libre d'Orange - Jasmin et Cigarette

I only get cloying, syrupy jasmine. No cigarette at all. :(

Frederic Malle Le Parfum De Therese

This is heartbreakingly beautiful on me.

Guerlain - Shalimar Parfum Initial L'Eau

basically it smells like a candy version of Shalimar. or a soda version. a Shalimar for kids, without any harsh, strong notes, but fruits and light, sweet, green scents emulating Shalimar. Shalimar as a fruit tart or macaron? it's airy in its sweetness, none of the Prada Candy heaviness.

as a member of the Shalimar family, it's close to being a disgrace, but on its own, it's an agreeable sip of fluffy candy soda.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Cologne Pour Le Soir

The absolute was too strong on me, the cologne is streets ahead. There's still a soupçon of cumin which doesn't agree with me, though.

^ My mother wore Ysatis back in the day.

Today it's Le Labo Fleur d'Oranger 27

Knize Ten

Old-school leather; a vintage Mercedes roadster in a field of flowers.

L'Artisan Fou d'Absinthe

absolutely love it! smells so sexy. also dug out my old barely used 2007 Dior Homme eau de toilette today and remember why i love it so much.

Tauer L'air Du Desert Marocain

This leans towards the masculine side, albeit being marketed as unisex.

Guerlain Vetiver

A classic. I stopped wearing this for a while because it started to seem dated, but I like it again. Or maybe it just blooms too much on my skin in warm weather; it's not a warm day today.
