How is Rag & Bone?

How is Rag & Bone? I found a really nice blazer by them but I have never heard of the label. How's the quality etc?

I think it is a big label in Japan.
I heard it was good, but never bought or seen anything.

Ok, thanks. I've done some research but there isn't much info about Rag & Bone. I guess I'll just buy the blazer as it was a great price (down from around $650 to $259) and the fit was perfect.

I was in San Francisco this weekend..Some some Rag and Bone pieces in 'ROLO' shop, SOMA. Nothing interesting, looked like one more high street brand.

That's a great buy, if your blazer is marked down so much...I spoke to SA about this brand and he said its big in Japan and the quality of clothes were definitely better. But basics were'nt that good..maybe If I had found a blazer ( at the price range you found) I may have gone for that..I settled down for APC short ,woolen version ,blazer.

Sounds good. Yeah this blazer I found is a little bit too long (I like tight blazers that are short) so I'm going to have to have someone make it a little bit shorter. How long is the APC blazer (compared to arm length)? And how much is it?

It's around 436$.(Gray wool...) Short , may be 30 in length. Cut similar to Dior homme ,superb construction and quality. It is there in Mercer street store, you can check it out, if you are in NYC. I saw it a couple of weeks back.

Rag & Bone is a label done by two models based in New York. I like their basic organic cotton t-shirts. Their pants are also comfy with nice details. Nothing exciting but nice quality essential clothes.

Denim is indeed their specialty, they cut great denim pants (as opposed to 5 classic 5 pockets jeans).

this seems like such a hipster brand...

every time i see one of those really forced - super styled -i'm too cool for school kids in the streetstyle pics...
it seems like at least one of them is wearing rag and bone...

You are right softgrey, its a very hipster-driven line. I think the company itself is a hipster of sorts. Lacking in talent and originality but constantly fluffing itself up to be hip and talented. I have yet to be impressed by anything they make. For so long I ever heard was how great the line was, but when I finally saw it in person it was not only disappointing in design but also in fit and quality.

i wen to their showroom to see the stuff for f/w '07 and it was amazing. their blouses, dresses, and trench coats were amazing. their denim was nice too, but i wasnt super impressed.. ive definately seen better denim. anyone know where i can shop for their stuff online??? i have been looking everywhere!
