This! It's paradoxical since we are all talking about a fast-paced fashion, yet we've been stuck in the same aesthetic for so many years. In fact, I think we've never been doing the exact same thing for so long. Am I wrong?

Kiko is Super Gorgeous!
The portrait has a natural feel which is soooo refreshing.
Too bad it's on an i-D cover.
I'm really over their 'Popeye' shtick.

It's not the premiere issue of i-D Japan.I-D Japan,founded in October 1991,stopped publication in January 1993.The cover model of its premiere issue is the famous Japanese singer Koizumi Kyoko.

yeah- i was thinking that it was weird that there wasn't an i-D japan...


i think the cover looks quite good...
even though it has a very 90's feel to it...

I think ID actually have a digital presence in most countries, that is, tailoring content specifically for said countries. It will be interesting to see how many of those will expand from digital to print. I don't think print in Asia is in much of a crisis as it is elsewhere. I also don't see them launching in China anytime soon. Too much red tape.

^ Strangely enough, I couldn't find it anywhere in Tokyo last month. New issue didn't come out, yet this one seemed to be removed from the newsstands.
