How do you identify such?
I searched for it, but came up with nothing.
I also read some sites that say how, but I still can't figure it out.

What are some of your 'ways' to figure it out?
Thanks:blush:

^ nice link

before i saw that link, i'd ask:

- do you look better with gold or with silver jewellry?
if gold - then you may have a warm undertone
if silver - then you may have a cooler undertone

- do you look great in warm brown/beige/olive .. or horrid?
if great - then you're warm
if horrid - then you're cool

- do you look good in cold black/sharp crisp white ... or does it wash you out?
if it washes you out - then you're warm
if it's good - then you're cool

So: cool can be olive (with that green undertone) or blue
warm can be red or pink

this is all IMO based on stuff i've read.. but they could have been wrong as well.. it's just what i've used on myself b/c i'm brown (Caramel coloured) - i look golden-brown but i'm really olive toned as i look like a lump o'poo if i wear gold/olive/brown clothing... and similar toned makeup.

I have trouble determining my skin tone, too. All the little tricks only confuse me more!

I like both gold and silver jewelry on my skin, and I get about the same amount of compliments for both.
I get compliments when I wear warm brown and beige, but I white and black look good, too.

I always get a tie with those things! I'm confused :innocent:

This is really helpful! I couldn't figure my skin undertones out because I am filipino.. with chinese descent.. so I am more fairer skineed. This really does make everything clear; no wonder I don't like wearing brown as much, it all makes sense. :) Thanks!

ooh. this helped a bit, i'm filipino too, but i'm part spanish, so that "asian" skin tone isn't really my color...and i'm not really in that olive skin tone either.

:)
yee
oh being mixed is interesting eh?
i'm mostly Indian (Nepalese and others) + Native + Spanish + African...
one would think i'm yellow-based and supposed to look good in gold/gold-tones/red etc....
but i look utterly horrible!

BelleChic: maybe you're more neutral - lucky you!
