parkereloise, I can see that you really are in  with Jeisa. :D ^_^ By the way, this cover is much better than her previous cover that you made. :)

So, here's my another creation. But this time, it's a men's magazine with a touch of Vogue Paris/W Magazine. :D In other words, it's a high fashion men's magazine called "Messieurs" (French term for Gentlemen).

It took me an embarrassingly long time to think of a title and in the end I just wound up doing the most unimaginative one possible.

Content overview:
Really just the types of stuff I'd like to have in a magazine. Photographers I like and artists. Nick Knight, Marilyn Minter, Jeff Burton, Paolo Roversi, Liz Collins, Solve Sundsbo, etc...

Wow! I didn't know this thread was around. I had made some magazine covers a while back.

Doubt- Fashion, art, cinema, and culture.

I would expand the current Vogue Hommes Japan to other countries. I'm thinking France, Brazil & Italy seeing as they could offer a good amount of readers & clientèle. I would tweak the aesthetic a bit since I'm not a fan of VHJ's current alternative, edgy look. I favor a more refined & simple cover, with the same format in terms of text placement.

I made these covers when I first learned to use different colors for the VOGUE header (thanks GivenchyHomme & zacatecas570 B)) with intent to use it for the Vogue Cover Challenge, but I figured I'd just put them here:

Vogue Hommes originated in France. It is called Vogue Hommes International not Vogue Hommes France, however. ;)

^ oooh, that's where I was wondering VHI came from. Thanks for clarifying.

When I was in graduate school getting my journalism degree, I had to create an entire magazine prospectus for my senior project. I chose to create an exclusively petite fashion magazine called FEMME. I felt it was something the niche magazine market was missing. At the time there were magazines for woman over ’40, plus-size woman, and many others. I wanted to give petite woman their own fashion world they could relate who may feel left out of mainstream fashion magazines inhabited by 6’foot gazelle models.

I wanted to give petite women a fashion magazine of their own that would completely and exclusively present the petite proportion and perspective in a way was chic, modern, glam and equal in caliber to any one of the major fashion magazines. The models used would all be 5’4 and under, as well as featuring the unique personal styles of celebrities and other woman of interest under 5’4.

I would still love some day to have the opportunity to bring it to life.
