^haha i know!! I love it! its amazing what make-up can do

JenniferEdieRose,RRR,lebleu15: I'm happy that you liked/loved the Courtney Love/Jean Harlow "The Starlet" picture that I posted!
I wanna do that makeover on myself one day. Please tell me what you think about what I wrote in 1163.

There was actually one person in another community that wrote "gross" about those two Courtney Love/Jean Harlow "The Starlet" pics that I posted.
I think she looks angelic.

HEY! Aout #1163, i think you should do what the picture sort of does, by doing the lips and rimming the eyes, perhaps the book you bought was for professionals who kinda know that the author missed some out. Or maybe he was just giving the bare basics and you (if you want, which you do)can go advanced if you like. Hope this helps, follow your own instincts and ideas too. Oh also look at old photos of Jean Harlow, all the stuff you need to know is right there

Thank you JenniferEdieRose for responding for what I asked. Of all Kevyn Aucoins book I think that Making Faces where the Courtney Love/Jean Harlow "The Starlet" pictures are from are the best book for beginners.
When I do the that makeover on myself one day I can follow his instructions one time and do what I think another time. I'm also pretty sure he didn't write that he covered her eyebrows but he writes about that he peciled them in with a light brown eye pencil.

Forget to write thanks for advice about looking at Jean Harlow pics!

lol

I would love to get the book, my friend and i are totally into arty and inspiring makeup, the way a darker colour can shade everything. I love the jean harlow look but it must match your face, my face is waaaay to round, plus i aint got no cheekbones, so i wont do lol Hope it works really well for you though, dont forget to send some photos and wear a rocking wig!

:mohawk:

JenniferEdieRose: Yes I absolutely think you should buy it and his other two books to: The Art of Makeup and Face Forward. Everybody that are interested in makeup should buy those books imo.
Even if you have a round have (I think I have that face shape too and I don't have any high cheekbones) you can still do the Jean Harlow "The Starlet look" imo. I am 100 % sure Kevyn didn't think that a person couldn't try a certain look just because you have a certain face shape and thick cheeks/no cheekbones or high cheekbones. Please don't limit yourself so!
If you love the Jean Harlow look I think you should try it!
If you wanna try to make your face more oval (though I am not sure what face shape Jean Harlow had I think it is often very difficult to see on people)
I would recommend you too buy Makeup Makeovers by Robert Jones. He has two pages dedicated to each face shape: heartshaped, square, round, long and even oval. He teaches you how to get your face more oval if that is what you want.
No I would never post pics on myself on the net as myself or as a celebrity.
I wouldn't dare too. I would want to keep it private just for myself. Maybe you wouldn't think that Jean Harlow look suit me if I post it but I try not to care. Yes when I try this look I am gonna wear a platinum blonde wig and blue contact lenses since I have lightbrown eyes.

JenniferEdieRose: With a platinum blonde wig, blue contactlenses(or maybe you already have that naturally) and I think you can do the Jean Harlow look to!
