Interview November 2016 : Millie Bobby Brown by Mikael Jansson

I haven't even seen the October issue on any newsstands where I'm at. Anyone else find it yet?

I'm simply not interested in a 12-year old being paraded as an adult, despite the meta justification Interview may cough up. Can already see the strange looks I'll trying to pay for this issue. And anyway, the styling is awful.

That's what I also thought!

I get the Digital Edition of Interview and the October issue didn't come out yet, and today is the 25th of October, what happened

I don't get the hype over her. Meh.

I like the cover even though I won't be buying high priced Interview with a young child on the cover.

BUT if you haven't checked out Stranger Things on Netflix, you're missing out. It's a really good show and she deserves all the HYPE she's receiving.

It’s a nice cover-- although typically generic by Interview's standards. And good for Interview for snatching her up first before the 2nd series blows up and she’s everywhere.

Strange Things is hugely overrated. I’m so bored with these heavily nostalgia-reliant shows/films that so many people fawn over. Take away that gloss of nostalgia, and it’s just a X-File with kids. RedLetterMedia has a great assessment of this show that looks past the fevered sheen of nostalgia and tells it like it is. The stanning for Betty is so annoying that only the interweb can spawn. (And speaking of strange… RedLettermedia’s Mike Stoklasa is strangely so sexy to me LOL)

I've never seen this girl's show and I'm not that familiar with Maddie's work either but I adore Maddie!.. she's super talented and humble, she should be on the cover or should have at least several covers by now..

for once i'm not bothered by them choosing a teen-star cause millie's so talented and i'm sure she's got a long career ahead of her. (the styling could've been better... but still).

here's the editorial, style by Karl Templer:

Those are really good shots of Millie. She looks like a young Rooney Mara. Would have been much stronger had some shots been in vivid color.

Thanks mistress.

I like the cover and ed, a nice throwback but still modern and age appropiate.

And Remy! :wub::D

Don't mind seeing her on the cover at all, she is so good on what is a truly fantastic show. Had so much fun watching it this summer, excited for season two. But as great as her ed is, would be lovely if they included few of the other kids from the cast.

I was wondering which magazine would snack her first, glad it was Interview. Although I wish they had taken a different styling direction, the pictures are still great. She looks really cool.

Oh and Mahershala

I am a huge fan of Millie and I think they really did an amazing job with her. Love everything from the styling to the hair and makeup and photography!

No idea who she is (thought she might be of a relative of Mr. "My Prerogative" :ninja: initially), but I like the images in the edit for the most part...I mean it's Mikael J, so what do you expect?

Don't know what's going on with the distribution of this mag ATM though, no September issue seems to have hit the UK and no signs of the October issue being released IRL yet...wonder who the lunatic is who heads up that dept over at Brant :innocent:.

I love this girl, and for people saying she's overrated and overhyped, I think you're wrong. Seeing her is like seeing Kirsten Dunst when she was young, you just know she's going to hang around.

HOWEVER, I DO NOT love how they styled her like Kristen Stewart here. Her pixie waif thing is so much more interesting.

I can't place my finger on why, but it makes me soooo uncomfortable now when Hollywood parades out the new hot child actor of the day like this. :ermm: I know it's not a new thing, but the older I get the more it bothers me.

I really like Millie and I think she carries her cover and spread beautifully. She has a great presence both on screen and in print and as HeatherAnne said - she has the potential to stick around.

Hopefully the things I've read about her dad's bad management style aren't true or at least they don't affect her career as much.

Great start on the fashion covers world  ... she's effortlessly cool her acting is great, there'll be more for sure.
