When I saw the title "Interview October 2016: Tom...", I was hoping it would be Tom Cruise, tbh.

I like the cover, and the timing is perfect. Not sure why Tom must always pose so stiff. He looks a bit like a 1940's fascist in the first edit shot, while the rest will most likely serve as inspiration for that leather/s&m-obsessed fashion guy who we always see at the men' shows.

I like Tom Hiddleston as an actor, but I've never understood this trend for dressing him up as a fetished hunk - to me, he walks a fine line between having and not having the physical presence for it, and these days, it all has the same whiff of absurdity as the Taylor Swift thing.

And, he looks like a fool here. Really silly and uncomfortable. Should have put him in some nice suits.

This is a great Mapplethorpe tribute from Klein, love that Templer even used the Raf x Mapplethrope collab collection within the shoot. They could have gone even further with the leather and BDSM themes though probably not with a mainstream actor

It's a good cover and I like the lighting but the edit is textbook Klein 2010s...I was excited last issue because the Smith twins' feature seemed to point back to Steven and Karl doing something more avant garde again but alas...

The editorial would have worked better with a more confident and less cringey subject. Mads Mikkelsen, Justin Theroux, even perennial dreamboat Garrett Hedlund would have pulled this off better than whatever this is.

I like it.
It's a nice juxtaposition. He doesn't have to be a real leather lover to be styled as such in an ed. It does not bother me that it's not "believable". It's like playing dress up. It makes it more interesting and fun.
